EF Hutton hosts Martin Luther King, III to talk technology and access
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) – EF Hutton is hosting a series of conference talks designed to shed a national spotlight on a number of issues.
The overall goal is to bring together business executives from industries like social networking and data security to discuss problems and potential solutions to issues like user rights and privacy.
Tuesday’s inaugural event featured the son of Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr., human rights activist, Martin Luther King, III.
King said, “In this day and age in the 21st century, as technology is advancing all the time, it shouldn’t just benefit the few. There should be a way that all people can participate.”
Tuesday was one of many talks. The next conference will be on social capital and will be held on October 4.
